| Photoluminescent pigment is a new type of long afterglow material.Free from any radioactive substance and with strong capability of absorbing,storing,and emitting light.The pigment can glow in the dark automatically after absorbing varieties of visible light.It can be added in many mediums such as coat, paint,ink,UPastic,glass etc.The products,when apUPied with photoluminescet pigment, show good effects in illumination,indication,and decoration.You can use it safely in daily products such as costume,show and caps,stationery,clock and watch,switch,signals ,fishing tools,arts&crafts,etc.And also suitable for apUPications in constrction decoration,transportation vehicles,military installations;Some customers use it to make emergency exit,safety signs as well. |

The large particle size,the low mesh figure,"B" means 200 mesh,"C"means 300mesh,"D" means 400 mesh.We also can supUPy "E",which means 500 mesh.For special apUPication,we can supUPy 600 mesh, 800 mesh,1000 mesh.
"9" represents the brightness of the Photoluminescent pigment.The brightest product is 9 Series,
The brightness level is: 9 > 8 > 7 > 6 > 4; B > C> D. (The larger particle size,the lower brightness level).
For "9" Series UP, the hightest initial brightness can reach 28000 mcd/m2and can glow more than13h;
For "8" Series UP, the hightest initial brightness can reach 22000 mcd/m2,and can glow more than12h;
For "7" Series UP, the hightest initial brightness can reach 17000 mcd/m2,and can glow more than10h;
The lowest initial brightness is 7000 mcd/m2
How to use photoluminescent pigment:
Mixing instructions for Luminous printing ink
a. Choose natural transparent resin.
b. Choose pigments with small particle size like (C) 25-35, (D) 12-18.
C. Add about 30-50% of luminous pigment by weight,into the clear printing ink.
d.You could add more if brighter ink required.Adding more powder will thicked the solution.
e.Do not grind the pigments.
f.Use containers with ceramic of glass interiors and stir the mixture at high speed.
g.To avoid deposits,you shoud use high viscosity resins or anti-settling agents.
h.Do not use heavy metal components as additives.
i.Seletc a printing ink that is suitable for the surface to be printed on.For examUPe,use metal abrasive
oil ink if the surface to be printed on metal.
Mixing instructions for Luminous masterbatch
*** Masterbatch component: Mix up the high-consistence photoluminescent pigment,PP resin and other kinds of menstruum,then granulated.
*** Characteristic:
a.Consistence of the luminescent pigment is: 50-70%
b.Scatter the photoluminescent pigment over the product very equality and easy for use.
c.Menstruums of its included can improve the products' degradation and toughness.
*** ApUPication Range: Luminous pigment can be mixed into kinds of resins.It can also be mixed into other resin which have good compatibility with PP resin.By injection,blow and extrusion moulding. It can be made into varieties of luminous UPastic products.
Mixing instructions for Luminous paint
a.Choose containers with ceramic or glass inner linr to keep from the heavy metal.
b.Select the suitable transparent resins to be the substrate.
c.Mix about 25-30% fo luminous pigment,measured by weight.This is just a guideline.You could add more or less according to your detailed requirements.
d.Stir the mixture at high speed.
Then,the mixture is good for use.
The longer time luminous powder is in water,the lower is the luminous brightness.So use it up as soon as it is mixed with water-base substance.
